PCCF's 12th Year Anniversary Gala 2022 - SALAMAT!

A grand celebration with over 450 people was held last Saturday, November 19th, 2022, to mark the 12th Year Anniversary of the Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation (PCCF) and a Celebration of Life for PCCF co-founder, Senator Tobias C Enverga, to mark the 5th year since his passing.

"I am overwhelmed with gratitude because of everyone's support and presence here tonight!" said Rosemer Enverga, PCCF President. "This event would not be possible without the officers and volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes - thank you! We hope to see you all again next year!"

The event was emceed by Front Page Philippines' Gie Alvarez and Filipino TV's Patrick Dooc. It was attended by patrons who travelled from as far as Barrie, Brampton, Courtice, Peterborough, Lindsey and Mississauga. Dignitaries including Senator Asha Seth and husband Arun, Councillor Yamada, Consul General Orontes Castro and Honorary Consul of Malaysia Henry Lee as, MPP Babikian, MPP Thanisagalam as well as TCDSB trustees Angela Kennedy and Gary Tanuan attended. Performers included the amazing Lilac Cana, BFNE, LDLEL, Negrense and the Multicultural Dance Groups.

The event was also highlighted by the awarding of the Senator Tobias C. Enverga Jr Medal of Excellence that recognized trailblazers within the community including Dr Jeffrey Andrion, Austine Gaqui, Larry Receno and Thelma Dillon. For more information visit www.SenatorEnverga.com.
