Happy Filipino Heritage Month!

Happy Filipino Heritage Month! Presented by Filipinos in the 6ix, members of the Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation (PCCF) attended the Filipino Heritage Month celebration at Queen's Park. The event was attended by Community Leaders, various members of Provincial Parliament, TCDSB Trustee Garry Tanuan, TV Personalities including Ron Josol, Marivel Taruc and Carlos Bustamante.
PCCF President Rosemer Enverga was among the esteemed panel of guest speakers. Representing PCCF were Laila Elcano, Florence Salcedo, Loida Cox, Nancy Caladucan and Cynthia Concina.
The event was a resounding success! A shoutout to organizer Carlos Cabaneros!

The Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation (PCCF) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to have fun, while helping others. PCCF is the proud organizer of events such as the Pinoy Fiesta & Trade Show sa Toronto and the Pageants with a Cause.
For over a decade, PCCF has supported and spearheaded various charitable projects. Most notably, the building of the the ANCOP TALA Village in Caloocan, Philippines which is home to over 30 families impacted by Leprosy; relief efforts cause by natural disasters such as earthquakes and Typhoon Yolanda plus so much more.
PCCF was founded by the late Sen. Tobias C. Enverga Jr., the first Canadian of Filipino descent to be elected in the City of Toronto and to be appointed the Senate of Canada.
