PERSON WITH DISABILITIES (PWD) RECEIVES SUPPORT FROM PCCF
Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, Inc. (Translated, "House with No Steps") a rehabilitation and skills training centre is one of the recipients of the Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation's (PCCF) generosity. PCCF recently visited the Cainta location and gave away bags of personal hygiene materials and boxes of canned goods to benefit the residents, workers and their families who has disabilities. Leading the delegation to help the residents were Rosemer Enverga, PCCF EVP, she is with Miss Philippines Canada 2015 - Nathalie Ramos and Miss Teen Philippines Canada 2015 - Ansha Hipolito.
PCCF aims to help Tahanang Walang Hagdanan in their quest to uplift the lives of the orthopedically handicapped persons. Tahanang walang Hagdanan provides livelihoods and education to about 300. AT TWH, PWDs manufacture wheelchairs, educational toys, bags and other novelty items, and assemble packaging items for pharmaceutical companies.
