Happy 117th Philippine Independence Day!
The Philippine flag was proudly raised at Canada's capital where over 250 people from the GTA and Ottawa celebrated the 117th anniversary of Philippine Independence.
Senator Tobias Enverga, the first Canadian of Filipino descent recognized Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation (PCCF), SOSA, the Philippine Heritage Band (PHB) and Silayan in the red chamber where he was given a standing ovation.
