It has been ten years since the Honourable Vivienne Poy of the Canadian Legislature moved the motion to declare the Month of May as Asian Heritage Month. It was unanimously passed in the Canadian Senate and then duly signed in the House of Commons. During the last several decades, the impact of Asian Canadians on the social, economic and cultural aspects of Canada has been nothing but phenomenal.
